If you respect your family members final dignity please head my warning.ĭenial of responsibility. Again I do not recommend anyone to use them. my family is truly hurt behind the actions of this funeral home. My brother's box just had his first and middle initial and last name scribbled on top of the box. Usually when people are cremated by the funeral home they put a sticker on there with the name, date of death and date of cremation. Not only were there grease stains on top of the box but they did not treat my brother with the same respect that they do everyone else that they cremate. When my brother's remains finally came to the funeral home on the 6th of February. The professionalism and compassion was definitely not there. I do not recommend anyone to use this funeral home. My brother was a dark-skinned complected man & the ring was light silver so I don't understand how they did not see it from the first time that I called. Tim he called the funeral home in Mobile and told them that they found the ring on my brother's hand after more searching. May I also add that 10 minutes after speaking to Mr. I have yet to hear anything.not even an apology. I reached out to the funeral home 2 weeks ago and relayed a message to be contacted. My family has been hurt by these actions. The fact that he even was comfortable enough to tell me that he wrapped my brother up in plastic was very unethical and unprofessional. Mr Tim and the funeral home should know that. Before my brother arrived at pine rest funeral home he was embalmed and fully disinfected. He also stated that they had WRAPPED my brother up in PLASTIC because of the contagious disease. Then he went on to tell me that he was informed that my brother had a contagious disease and his first time going back there where to see my brother was whenever I called about the ring. I asked him a few more times and he stuck with the original answer that he did not see the ring. Tim returned to the phone he elaborated me that he did not see my brother's ring. Yet on February 3rd he still had not been cremated. He was approved for cremation finally on January 21st 2020. I found out after the fact that they had down for my brother to be buried even though we decided from the very beginning that he was going to be cremated. That's when I realized that my brother still had not been cremated.

That's when he told me that he was going to go in the back and check and see if they had it. The conversation was very unpleasant at that point.

That's when I spoke to the general manager, Mr. On February 3rd I called to check to see if they had his ring. A few weeks pass by and I checked to see if he had been cremated. Whenever my brother's body left the funeral home in Mobile there was a ring that I left on his finger because I was unable to get it off prior to leaving for cremation because it was stuck.so I trusted pine rest funeral home to remove it from his finger prior to cremation. My brother's funeral was December 28th and he arrived at pine rest funeral home towards the beginning of January. Within his arrangements we trusted pine rest funeral home in Foley Alabama with his body to be prepared for cremation.

A local funeral home in Mobile Alabama handled his arrangements. John becca obituary. My brother passed away on December 14th, 2019.
